輔大大傳學程為傳播學院跨系所經營，有來自大傳所、新聞系、影傳系和廣告系的師資支援，課程分別發展為三大學域「新聞報導學域」、「影音創作學域」、「廣告公關學域」。
新聞報導學域
新聞報導學域看似較生硬，卻是可以看到領略事物的學域，若你對於生活周遭的事物有較高的好奇心，選這個學域準沒錯。新聞報導，顧名思義是寫新聞稿，將採訪資料用文字、影音記錄下來。老師們會關注學生們的觀點，磨練學生看事情的態度與方法，讓你對一件平凡無奇的日常事務能有深刻與生動的看法。本學域較為關注的是「非主流」新聞，例如社區當中居民生活周遭的事物，尤其是生活美學、文化創意、休閒旅遊、社區營造、社會創新、環境永續等相關報導，偏向軟性報導。新聞報導學域是一個藉由報導、說故事的方式，讓台灣的生活品味更好、更充滿未來的學習領域。
影音創作學域
在網紅充斥的年代中，影音創作學域是充滿機會的。除了基本的拍攝技巧，更培養學生理解影像的語言、聲音的特性與特效的應用，在素人當道的年代中殺出一條血路。當然，光是懂得「影音」是不夠的，「內容才是王道」這句話是本學域要追求的目標，除了培養對事情獨到的看法，更要能夠藉著影像傳遞出「無言的力量」。此外，影音創作學域也訓練學生與閱聽人對話、經營社群、理解閱聽人想看什麼，這些都是這個年代不可或缺的能力。掌握內容與觀眾之後，亦須學習在畢業前策劃影展。整個學習過程中，透過參考過去經典的影音作品來訓練學生們有一對智慧、敏銳的眼睛，利用這對銳利的眼睛創作，並看到常人看不到之處。
廣告公關領域
在這個廣告、公關無處不在的時代中，你的機會來了。在這個學域當中，我們推崇的是各種偉大、經典廣告、公關案例的研討，從個案當中萃取符合這個時代人們的行動來加以學習，以這些個案分析為基礎，磨練學生的創意力。加上各種數據、資料探勘、人際互動的分析，來採取符合現況的廣告公關操作，最有效的做法。實際操作時，老師們的專業將會涵蓋影音、文字、多媒體互動、數據分析等，將一整套完整的操作分散在各個課程當中，並在畢業製作時整合應用。學生在廣告公關學域所累積的作品與實務經驗，未來也將成為進入企業的敲門磚。
除了傳院師資外，也與進修部其他系所互相開課選修，進行更廣泛地跨領域學習合作。最重要的是本學程彈性的課程安排，讓許多傳播業界講師願意蒞臨課堂指導，學生除了能將白天工作經驗或問題和講師們討教，更可以同步接軌業界和職場最新訊息。
在扎實的學理基礎與多元課程外，本學程也相當重視實務經驗，許多課程都要同學實際參與操作。不僅在校園內規劃了許多實習媒體，在校外更爭取與企業合作產學、實習的機會，讓同學們更早一步體會職場工作的真槍實彈！
curriculum features
The Bachelor Program in Mass Communication is run by several programs in the College of Mass Communication. Faculty members from the Departments of Journalism and Communication Studies, Advertising and Public Relations, and Communication Arts, as well as the Graduate Institute of Mass Communication. The curriculum offers three areas of specialization: Radio and Television; Advertising and Public Relations; and Online Media.
Students also enjoy the option of taking electives through other programs at the School of Continuing Education to broaden their education into different disciplines. Another key feature of the program is the evening courses, which afford experts and professionals who otherwise work in the day the chance to serve as lecturers and advisors. Besides the chance to interact and ask questions, the presence of these experts and professionals also opens up a direct route for students to the professional sphere.
On top of theorectical fundamentals and a diverse array of courses, the program also places great value on practical know-how. That’s why many of our courses include hands-on components. There are many practicum venues right on campus and we’re always looking to expand internship opportunities with partners in industry and academia, giving students early entry into the nitty-gritty of the workplace.
